After a Friday of wild weather, Saturday dawned fine with bright sunshine and a dusting of fresh snow on the summit of High Bare Peak. Several walking groups explored the land from 3hr bush walks on the lower slopes to a half day reconnaissance of the summit.
Special thanks to all our volunteers and especially to Little River Inn for offering us space to host visitors and putting on a very nice morning tea.
